Allied Universal, a leading security company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Front Desk Operations in Omaha, NE. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support a professional environment using computer systems to maintain records and communicate with site staff.

The role requires at least 6 months of security experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with computers.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet; experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and front-desk policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; issue passes; maintain entry/exit records.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate arrivals, deliveries, and access requests.
• Monitor security-related systems, report unusual activity, and respond to incidents calmly and effectively.
• Maintain logs and reports, support emergency response activities, and communicate information to leadership and site management.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; issue appropriate visitor passes; and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and access requests.
• Monitor security-related systems, report unusual activity, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain required logs and reports, support emergency response activities when appropriate, and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet; experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
