Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in military police, corrections, or armed security, or a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Must have a valid state driver's license for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Licensed Driver in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while monitoring access, observing activity, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and clients, helping create a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk of a financial institution while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Verify visitor identities, manage guest sign-in processes, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or contacts in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility through the front desk area, report unauthorized access attempts, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated location contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security professional, or be a graduate of a certified law enforcement training program.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
