Job summary

Allied Universal welcomes applicants for a Front Desk Security Officer position at our Corpus Christi, TX location. As the first point of contact, you will greet tenants and visitors, manage access control, and respond to incidents in a proactive, customer-focused manner.

You will support safety protocols, document daily activities, and collaborate with site management to maintain an orderly environment. A guard card/license is preferred, with a minimum of one year in security and a high school

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the building by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain clear, accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
