Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Auburn Hills, MI to welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry, and provide exceptional customer service. The role offers a flexible schedule at an automotive location.

As a Front Desk Security Professional, you will support site operations, report security concerns, and help maintain a professional, secure environment. Pay is $18.31 per hour with daytime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal history considerations in line with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor records.
• Monitor access to the location, direct guests to contacts, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities as required.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, and support security-related communications when at the front desk.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access to the automotive manufacturing location, direct guests to appropriate contacts or areas, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and support security-related communications while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
