Job summary

Allied Universal in Benton Harbor, MI, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer - Access Control to greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain logs at a manufacturing and industrial site.

You will support access control, visitor management, and security communications with a professional, helpful presence. This role offers flexible hours, on-site work, and opportunities for training and career growth within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at the front desk of a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests according to site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and/or contractor logs; communicate arrivals and access requests to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor front-desk communications, receive incoming calls, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You\'ll Do:
