Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol in Saint Maries, ID. In this role you will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and provide customer service to employees and visitors at an industrial site.

You will work with a flexible schedule, earning $17.51 per hour, with opportunities to learn, grow, and access our shift-claim platform to adjust your hours.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related concerns for Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
