Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Three Rivers, MI. You will patrol and monitor a manufacturing/industrial site, deter unauthorized activity, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information during shift handoffs and with emergency responders as needed.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
