Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security officer to observe and report activities at client sites, conduct regular patrols, and enforce safety rules to protect people and property. The role requires standing for extended periods and responding to incidents efficiently.

Shifts run Saturdays to Tuesdays, 2pm–10pm, with opportunity to join a dedicated team. A valid NJ SORA license, clear English communication, and physical fitness are essential to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma / GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License.
• Must understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be physically able to perform the job duties.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy.
• Securing premises by patrolling and monitoring access points.
• Completing reports with observations, information, and signatures.
• Carrying out tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays 2pm10pm

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.75/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
