Job summary

Doyle Security Services invites applications for a security officer to protect client properties and personnel across multiple sites in New Jersey. The role requires standing for long periods, patrolling, reporting irregularities, and enforcing site rules.

Travel to various client sites and flexible scheduling are involved. Valid NJ SORA license and driver’s license are required, with ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel to numerous client sites.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold a valid NJ SORA license and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling properties; monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities; obtain signatures.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Must be able to travel to numerous sites. No set shifts or schedule. Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Staff MUST working the following dates:

• September 19, 2026 - 11:30AM to 4:00PM
• September 26, 2026 - 11:30AM to 4:00PM
• October 1, 2026 - 6:00PM to 10:00PM
• October 17, 2026 - 11:30AM to 4:00PM
• October 24, 2026 - 11:30AM to 4:00PM

Pay Range

Up to USD $22.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to travel to sites
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
