Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking guards to observe, report and respond at client sites. You will patrol premises, monitor access points, and enforce site regulations while standing for long periods during evening and night shifts in New Jersey.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, possess or obtain a NJ SORA license, and communicate effectively in English; physical fitness is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• NJ SORA license required or eligible.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and preserves order.
• Enforces regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Stand for the majority of the workday and respond to security needs as required.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Friday and Saturday 3pm-11pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 11pm-7am

Pay Range

USD $19.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
