Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Rover in Dayton, NJ. You will patrol healthcare facilities, greet staff and visitors, and support access procedures while documenting observations. The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site staff, visitors, and contractors at a healthcare location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter points; report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems; assist with emergencies and access issues; notify appropriate contacts.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verify IDs, direct deliveries, and maintain logs as required.
• Complete patrol activity and incident reports using Allied Universal tools and site forms.

Job Description

As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Rover in Dayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, support access procedures, and communicate clearly while documenting key observations. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site staff, visitors, and/or contractors at a healthcare manufacturing location by carrying out security- related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, access issues, suspicious activity, and/or alarms, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, directing deliveries, and maintaining logs per site requirements.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, using Allied Universal reporting tools and site forms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience – preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet – preferred.
• CPR Certification – preferred.
• Customer Service Experience – preferred.
• State, County, or City Issued Security License – preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
