Job summary

Allied Universal in Jackson, TN, is seeking a Security Officer Foot Patrol on a part-time basis. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, carry out site procedures, and perform unarmed patrols to deter incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and report any security concerns to leadership, helping create a welcoming, safe work environment. Flexible day and night shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking locations, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry, exit, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe conditions that may impact facility operations or present security-related concerns and report findings to site leadership.
