Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Train Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO. You will safeguard clients across sectors, patrol transit facilities, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining visibility to deter incidents.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities include routine patrols, incident response, report writing, and assisting passengers and staff in a dynamic public environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees and contractors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving and notify appropriate personnel or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, direct visitors, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols and observations.

You will conduct routine patrols, report security-related concerns, assist passengers and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • Tue 02:16 AM - 10:24 AM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access, suspicious items, or concerning behavior according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
