Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.

As a Security Guard Entry Screening in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and working closely with team members. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with transportation personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
