Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Fluent Spanish Patrol in Montclair, CA to serve clients across industries and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You will provide professional customer service, monitor premises, and report incidents while upholding site policies.

This full-time role offers a schedule of 2:30 PM–10:30 PM with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Fluency in Spanish and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of store areas, receiving areas, parking lots and perimeter to identify and report irregularities.
• Monitor access points, observe deliveries and vendor activity, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Fluent Spanish Patrol in Montclair, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a grocery-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while reporting concerns and responding to incidents. Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of store areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points, observe deliveries and vendor activity, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
