Job summary

Allied Universal Washington, DC-based Security Officer Flex Site Deployment role offers exposure to healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more as you build a long-term security career. You will work 30-40 hours weekly with a mix of manager-assigned and self-scheduled shifts through Earn More, Claim-A-Shift programs.

Expect irregular shifts with little advance notice to meet client needs, and opportunities to advance within the company as you gain experience across sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience or more.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular conditions and safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities as needed.
• Control access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
