Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Flex to serve clients across healthcare, education, finance, and retail. You will work 30-40 hours per week with a flexible, manager-assigned and self-scheduled shift program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws or regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
