Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the healthcare-related location per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and report observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site requirements.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Flex Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
