Allied Universal in Greenwood, IN is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver to protect a technology location. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns with professional customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required; CPR is preferred; background checks and drug screening are standard.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
