• Applicants must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Guard card or license is preferred and access control experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the automotive finance office location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, entrances and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive finance office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A primarily driving post is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
