Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location, following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries as needed.
• Document incidents and patrol activity, communicating with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Job Description

As a Security Officer in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. • Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare-related business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct visitors, contractors, and deliveries as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
