Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in St. Paul, MN. You will patrol healthcare locations, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while driving on site.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $19.48 per hour and a schedule that includes night shifts and weekend coverage. Applicants must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 (21 for armed roles), and pass background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior, exterior, parking areas and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies and critical situations calmly and in line with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in St Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, hazards, policy violations, and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
