Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Site Patrol in Saint Louis, MO. This role offers flexible, reliable hours, with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining armed-post readiness. Pay is $25.00 per hour; candidates need an armed guard card/license, be 21+, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Baton certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including access points, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain professional armed-post readiness in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Site Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
