Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operator) in Florence, NJ. You will patrol, monitor alarm systems, and provide professional customer service at a financial institution location.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check and drug screen will be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Communicate clearly with site representatives, emergency personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and incident updates.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
