Allied Universal in Woodland Park, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service. You will support clients at a financial institution, perform unarmed patrols, and provide welcoming, professional service while driving on site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ age (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Pay is $15.92 per hour with a daytime to evening schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, perimeter, parking areas and other locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and follow Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
