Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Evening Corporate Tower Patrol in New York. You will monitor and guard clients across financial services locations, maintain a visible security presence, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role includes a schedule of Fri-Sun from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a focus on safety, incident response, and professional communication in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic financial services location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, assist visitors and employees, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
