Allied Universal® in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Security Officer Entry Management to safeguard clients across industries. You will verify access, monitor entry points, and support orderly facility operations while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role offers daytime/overnight shifts, a pay rate of $18.90 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a caring, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures.
Control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, and visitor documentation.
Monitor entry and exit points, log visitors and contractors, and report irregularities.
Respond to incidents calmly following established communication and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
