Qualifications

As a Security Officer Entry Management in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and supporting orderly facility operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document security-related activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report access irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established communication and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
