Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a Full Time security position in Council Bluffs, IA. You will provide customer service, control access at a food and beverage production site, and report any irregularities to leadership.

The role involves night shifts, a background check, and a drug screen as required by law. A high school diploma is required, with opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered per laws.
• 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures.
• Control access by verifying IDs, credentials, and delivery documents per site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit, maintain logs, issue credentials, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly following established communication/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking, and the perimeter.
