Allied Universal in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for Patrol Presence at a hospitality location. You will provide a visible security presence, assist guests and staff, and respond to incidents following site procedures and emergency protocols.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor/vehicle activity, reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation and communicate information to leadership and site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and follow site procedures for directing guests and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
