As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Examination in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional presence and communicating clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, shipments, and personal property in accordance with established screening protocols and applicable procedures.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials and access authorization, and report irregularities or prohibited items to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
