Qualifications

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and drug screen will be performed.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and emergency response when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, maintaining orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Maintain visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and assist with directions and support.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with maintaining an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity while providing courteous assistance and directions to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
