This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, prior customer service experience, and comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, crew members, and staff by enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and document access-related activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized entry and identify security issues.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports and communicate with leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Doral, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cruise Ops, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting cruise operations, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with guests and team members, and help create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, crew members, and/or staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cruise operations location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and document access-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, terminal areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
