As a Security Officer Credential Validation in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect temporary badges, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Control entry to technology-focused office and operations locations in accordance with established procedures, escalating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to identify unusual activity, report hazards, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
