As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that values integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing passes as authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate access-related observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
