Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Access Control in North Little Rock, AR. You will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution environments, managing entry points, verifying credentials, and delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Criminal histories considered as allowed by applicable laws.
• 21+ years for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access records.
• Observe shipments, vehicle traffic, and loading areas for unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter.

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing shipments, vehicle traffic, and loading areas for unauthorized access or unusual activity, following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
