Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a full-time security professional for a manufacturing site on night shifts (Tue–Sat, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM) at $17.00 per hour. The role involves applying site policies, access control, and emergency response when needed, contributing to a safe workplace.

You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and respond to incidents in a calm, service-oriented manner, supporting overall site

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery logs; issue and collect access badges or other authorized credentials as directed.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
