Qualifications

• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic, including deliveries and vendor vehicles, in accordance with established facility policies and applicable access requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Accomac, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and attentive customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
