Allied Universal in Hanover, PA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Authorization to safeguard clients across facilities. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors, employees, and vendors, and help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the food and beverage facility by verifying identification, visitor authorizations, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records, issue access credentials as authorized, and report access irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
