Job summary

Allied Universal® in Goodyear, AZ, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide dependable, flexible hours and growth opportunities within a national security leader. This role offers a fixed anchor shift plus the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and observe security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, maintaining logs, and following site protocols for access control.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Flex in Goodyear, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
