Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Site Flex in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time position offers reliable, anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Work is Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM with six-month anchor shift commitment and growth opportunities within a flexible schedule that can lead toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and security-related protocols throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify potential concerns and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, observe activity, and document security-related events as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities, alarms, and/or evacuation support while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
