Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain logs.
• Respond to access-control incidents and security concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including loading docks and perimeter areas.
• Communicate observations and incidents to appropriate contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Registration in Whitsett, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat, 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-control incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including business areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and transportation partners while reporting observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
