• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions to site management.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Henderson, NV, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security‑related incidents to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
