Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV. This role provides reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver customer service while ensuring site safety policies are followed. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour and shifts may include overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, hazards, and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation and communicate information to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific policies, security‑related procedures, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
