Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced, Part Time, Unarmed Building Patrol in Whitsett, NC. This role offers flexible hours, reliable shifts, and opportunity to earn additional income by taking extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain accurate reports. Must be at least 18, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen as required.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Building Patrol in Whitsett, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
