Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology‑focused corporate location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security‑related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Whitsett, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
