This role includes a six-month anchor shift commitment, site-specific procedures, and reporting responsibilities. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer-service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping/receiving zones, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach; notify leadership and document activities.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain logs, and communicate security observations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Services in Mount Vernon, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
