Allied Universal® in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to deliver reliable, customer‑focused security at a technology site. This role features fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform.

Pay rate is $20.21 per hour. The schedule includes Sundays 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with potential to scale to up to 40 hours weekly. Access to training and growth opportunities is available through the company.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and report issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear security reports and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response in Woodbury, MN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining professional communication with personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
