Job summary

Allied Universal in Stockton, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Reporting to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

The role offers a part-time schedule with 12:00 AM–08:00 AM shifts, pay rate $17.00 per hour, and a path to full-time opportunities through training and growth programs. Responsibilities include guarding, incident response, patrols, reporting, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and potential policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
