Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a luxury retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales floors, entrances, fitting areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, policy concerns, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, documenting observations, and communicating with store leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
